In the movie Doctor Lazarus is using his locator to find the Galium sphere ( I believe it was
Galium), any way he starts off in the wrong direction, he was holding the locator backwards.
What does this have to do with medications for diabetics?
Last night, for my 5:00 pm reading, I had my meter sitting on the couch while I was waiting for
the reading, it beeped, I looked, 26!
WOW, 26!
I didn't feel Hypoglycemic! No symptoms at all!
Bad test strip?
Had I developed a tolerance to hypoglycemia? I've read that this can happen. I've always felt the
symptoms before it got that low.
I decided to use another strip, retested, and looked when it beeped.
92!
I turned the meter around!
26!
I showed my wife and we both had a good laugh!
I'll never do that again!
We live and learn!
I'm only five and a half weeks into being a diagnosed diabetic and this is the first time I've been
able to laugh about anything that deals with being a type one diabetic!
I think it helped!
I'm not knocking the serious nature of this BB. but we do need to laugh once in a while!
I hope this will bring a smile to someone out there.
I definitely needed to see this diabetes thing in a little lighter aspect.
